September 11, 2009

Okay, I guess I should post a bit about my trip now...
It was a fruitful one.
Because, I went to many beautiful places & I also got my sleeping time turned back.

Bali was filled with friendly people all around.
It's totally unlike the idiots we have in Singapore.

And it was not as bad as I thought.
The streets were somehow CLEANER than ours.
DISAPPOINTING LA SINGAPORE.

And their beach, totally free of rubbish.

I thank our driver, Bayou, for bringing us around.
Without you, we won't know which places to go~

So for now... Will posts some of the places I went.
Enjoy the pretty scenery~!

The beach located behind our hotel, Bali Dynasty Resort.

Barong dancer.

The act. Of Barong & Radang. (Good and bad).

We went into a Balinese home, to see how their life is like.

Their bed was located in open air. I wonder...

Every Balinese (Hindu) has a temple built in their home.

Was told that chickens and pigs were essential in every homes.

Pig's food source : shreds from Banana tree.

Visited a temple, which was so-called "largest" in that area.

The Gods were all dressed in checkered cloths.
Balinese were preparing for a grand occasion, to be held on 16 September.

Made purely of rice.

Volcano sight-seeing.

& also to a famous coffee producing place.

Using this to create Chocolates would be more to my liking. :/

It takes an hour to fully cook coffee seeds into coffee beans. Phew.

What beats viewing the pretty nature while having coffee?

Even caucasian love this coffee (told by driver). You gotta try it if you happen to go Bali.
(I don't drink coffee, but it's a thumbs up for each of my family).

The second beach we went to, after a walk of about 5 minutes from a market.
You can find a beach just almost ANYWHERE, I'm serious.

Dinner for 2nd night @ Jimbaran Beach.
The whole stretch of beach was inhabited by different restaurants.

Next morning, we took a grass boat from this particularly lovely beach (which I don't know the name).
To another island where several turtles live. They were rescued and then fed there.

The middle of the grass boat allows us to view into the water.

See. How clear is the ocean there?!

Charlie, a very sad-looking dog we saw at the island.
HE WAS VERY ARROGANT, ignores whoever whom goes near him :'(

And this super irritating turtle. Keeps crawling. Can't even take a decent picture with it!
It crawled til' the souvenir shop -.- (as of the last sight I took of it).

The shelter where the rescued turtles live under.

They looks damn relaxing right. Envious.

After going back to the beach where we set off from, we slacked there for much time.
LOL. I caught a flu, supposedly we were going for snorkeling. Yeah canceled, sian.
MY LAOPEH AND HIS GIRLFRIEND WENT TO JET SKI!! NABEHHHH!!!!! T____T

This very loving, very comical auntie, rofl.
Pardon my without-makeup-ugliness :/

Tiny weeny baby. Kawaii~

ANOTHER beach, also located nearby a market.
The only difference here was that, there's people trying to pull businesses for manicure/pendicure, temporary tattoo, & all sorts.

Tanah Lot. Yet another beach.
We settled there & waited for sunset. (Laziness to rotate the pictures)

Sea-side temple.

If you see carefully, the sand at Tanah Lot is glittery.
Different from those sands you saw from the previous pictures.

While waiting for sunset... Coincidentally took a picture of the grasshopper as well.

THEN MY CAMERA WENT BATTERY LOW FOR THAT DAY. _l_

Last thing I had at the hotel, sliced Cheese cake.
Uber delicious.

Byebye Bali Dynasty!!
